A new To All The Boys I've Loved Before story- XO, KITTY. Back for another adventure, this time her own, Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. She'll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.
Was this predictable? some times yes, There were one or two things I didn't see coming. The romance was cute and the chemistry was off the charts. the actors were brilliant. This had all the elements to make a perfect sitcom. If you like Kdramas this is the show for you. I was apprehensive at first because I didn't like To all the boys I'd loved before forever and always. But I watched it and I am not going to lie I was hooked.
The drama was the thing that kept me going, the main story revolves around Kitty finding out about her mom. There were a lot of coincidences in the story that made me roll my eyes a little bit. But unlike some of the series I've watched lately (I'm looking at you Ginny and Georgia), I actually liked the main character, Kitty, she was funny, kind, and likable. The other supporting actors were also really good, I'm excited for season 2 and how they will develop this drama. I can see two more seasons of this.
This series is like watching reality tv or reading cheesy romcoms, it's like an escape and to an extent therapeutic. There is nothing brilliant about this show, except for the fact that I binge-watched the whole thing in a single sitting.
And man, I loved the aesthetics of this series, It makes me want to go to Japan so much. I have to say that I am not a big fan of Kdramas because sometimes I find them a little too cheesy, with puppy love, I need some spice, hopefully, we
ll have that next season.
I couldn't believe there were more seasons with the sisters except for the few texts here and there, I honestly expected a lot of cameos, But I kinda also liked that this was Kitty's story and did not take the spotlight off her.
I would give this series 4 out of 5 stars, definitely recommend it. Can't wait for the next season!
